Our residential gutter experts are just that, experts! They’ve been installing gutters for decades, and with the regular training they get, they don’t miss a beat. That’s why we had them come up with the two most important things to consider when you’re getting new residential gutters. Here at Coates Bros, we want this to be an exciting and stress-free process. If you’re considering new gutters, make sure you consider these two points:
1. The color of your roof, siding and windows.
Did you know gutters don’t have to be white? While that’s certainly the most common color you might see, gutters can be cut from metal of several different colors. One of our favorites lately is black gutters, which give the home an incredibly sleek and modern look. However, we also know that you want your gutters to blend with your home’s current look and not stand out like a sore thumb. Keep this in mind when you’re choosing your new gutters. Are your shingles black? Do you have light colored siding? Maybe you want the gutters to match the dark brown trim around your windows. These are all questions that we can help you with!
2. The size and slope of your roof.
Gutters come in a few different sizes, which will vary depending on the size of the roof. If you have a large roof, you might need larger gutters to account for more water. The slope also makes a difference for what size gutters you need. A steep roof will have a faster flow of water than a roof with a lesser slope, so be sure to keep that in mind when you’re getting your gutters installed.
